# Google form response reader

I am having such a hard time connecting my google form to gumloop.

I had made sure of the following:
credentials are up to date
permissions of the google form- anyone with link could edit
limit response to under google forms settings was disabled
These are the things I had tried:
Using Pick File : I chose the google form from my drive. I was able to choose fields without a problem. However, everytime I saved and refreshed the page, the chosen google form was lost. (shown in the video)
Using Link:
I pasted links of the format:

Hey @Radvin18tid! If you’re reporting an issue with a flow or an error in a run, please include the **run link** and make sure it’s **shareable** so we can take a look.
1. **Find your run link** on the history page. Format: `https://www.gumloop.com/pipeline?run_id={{your_run_id}}&workbook_id={{workbook_id}}`
2. **Make it shareable** by clicking **“Share”** → ‘Anyone with the link can view’ in the top-left corner of the flow screen.
3. **Provide details** about the issue—more context helps us troubleshoot faster.

Hey Radha, thanks so much for sharing the screen recording, that’s really helpful. I was able to reproduce the issue on my end and I think I see what’s going on. I’ve created a ticket to get this fixed, and we should have it resolved by next week. I’ll keep you updated.
Regarding your run link where it worked with the form link, it looks like the Google form was able to fetch all the data as shown in your screenshot. The issue with the failed run link seems to be downstream in your subflow. In your [subflow run link](https://www.gumloop.com/pipeline?run_id=FfjywfmM9s8SoUJaE5z7HP&workbook_id=nPeQ49jcXnxrRgDHq1uVJL&projectId=null&tab=3), there’s a stray output node that’s not connected to anything, which is causing the subflow to fail. Could you try removing that stray output node and then give your main flow with the Google form reader node another run please?

I’ve refunded the credits for these runs plus added some extra. Let me know how it goes after removing that output node.

I removed the stray outputs. However, the issue is more upstream coming from the google forms reader.

I think there has been a misunderstanding. The google forms reader is unable to fetch any data.

Just Replying to the thread to keep the topic alive. Please let me know if there are any updates. OR any other alternatives to enable users(who are not gumloop subscribers) to trigger my workflow.
