Hey everyone, I have been building a scheduled monitoring flow in Gumloop that checks an external release hub every few hours so my team can get notified whenever a fresh build or patch note drops.

The issue is that whenever my extraction node fetches the target [page](https://deltaexector.com.mx) to pull the latest version string and download target, the flow fails to resolve the client-side JavaScript, leaving the final payload blank or triggering a bot challenge timeout.

I tried chaining a browser action step with slight delays, but the DOM structure still drops the dynamic button elements before the text can be parsed. Has anyone found a reliable method in Gumloop to handle dynamic selectors and JS-heavy sites without running into continuous fetch errors?

Hey Zehal, have you tried building this with a Gumloop Agent instead?

Agents are probably a better fit for this use case since they can use tools like Firecrawl and Parallel to handle JS-heavy pages much more reliably. You can give the Agent the release-monitoring use case directly, connect Firecrawl, test it, and then add a scheduled trigger to check the page every few hours.

Here’s a quick guide to getting started with Agents: [Agents - Gumloop](https://docs.gumloop.com/core-concepts/agents)

We also have a lot of browser-use related features coming over the next few weeks, which should make handling dynamic sites and taking browser actions directly much easier. I’ll post an update here once those are available.

If you run into any issues setting it up, feel free to share the Agent link here and I can take a look.
