Enable Runs to Anon Users from Interfaces

Hi all,

I am trying to let my clients use the interface as a form but the issue is that for them to run the flows they need to be logged in which is what I don’t want.

I asked gummie but the answers are irrelevant or just wrong it hallucinates a lot.

How can I confgure interfaces so anyone without logging in can run them?

Thanks in advance.

Hey @d.yanes! If you’re reporting an issue with a flow or an error in a run, please include the run link and make sure it’s shareable so we can take a look.

  1. Find your run link on the history page. Format: https://www.gumloop.com/pipeline?run_id={{your_run_id}}&workbook_id={{workbook_id}}

  2. Make it shareable by clicking “Share” → ‘Anyone with the link can view’ in the top-left corner of the flow screen.

  3. Provide details about the issue—more context helps us troubleshoot faster.

You can find your run history here: https://www.gumloop.com/history

Hey @d.yanes – Unfortunately, this isn’t possible at the moment. Running a Gumloop workflow requires a user ID, and more importantly, the user’s credentials if the workflow uses nodes that need authentication (like Gmail, Drive, Google Sheets, etc).

There are two options here:

  • You can switch to a Google Form Reader node and enable that as a trigger. This way, every time the form is filled, the workflow is triggered using your credentials and credits. To send the output back to the user, you can use either a Gmail Sender or a Send Email notification node.

Let me know if you have any questions or need more details.

Thanks for your reply Wasay.

This is a bit annoying because then how can my users interact with the form from the interface?

This makes the interface completely useless.

It would be ideal if anyone could fill out the interface form and this would trigger the runs, if I have to use external forms, there’s no need for Gumloop as I can connect AI nodes and other elements directly to the other tools.

Kind of annoying issue.

Noted, appreciate the feedback. We’ll consider this in the future versions of the interface feature for sure. Thank you
