Error analyzing image format ads using Facebook Ad Library Scraper

Hi Gumloop team,

I’m trying to build a workflow to analyze ads in image format using the Facebook Ad Library option, but I’m running into some issues.

When I select the media type as “IMAGE”, no information is returned. However, if I choose “IMAGE AND MEMES”, the analysis starts, but the process stops as soon as a video appears among the ads, which interrupts the flow.

I’d like to know if there’s a way to ensure the analysis targets only images published by a specific brand account, without videos interfering in the process.

Here are the links to the failed runs:

Interestingly, the same process works perfectly fine when analyzing video format – the data is extracted as expected. The issue only arises when applying the flow to images.

Could you please advise what might be going wrong, or if there’s a specific adjustment I should make?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey @Maria! If you’re reporting an issue with a flow or an error in a run, please include the run link and make sure it’s shareable so we can take a look.

  1. Find your run link on the history page. Format: https://www.gumloop.com/pipeline?run_id={{your_run_id}}&workbook_id={{workbook_id}}

  2. Make it shareable by clicking “Share” → ‘Anyone with the link can view’ in the top-left corner of the flow screen.

  3. Provide details about the issue—more context helps us troubleshoot faster.

You can find your run history here: https://www.gumloop.com/history

Hey @Maria – Thank you for flagging this! We’re going to make the media filter more robust here, in the meantime if you wrap the Analyze Image node in an “Error Shield” node, you should be all set. The error shield node would protect the workflow from failing if the analyze image node fails for one-off inputs.

Also sent some credits your way to make up for the inconvenience.
