The Google Doc Writer folder selector is not pulling folders from the Google credentials that I have selected to use. It is pulling folders from my default which means that I can’t select the folder that I actually wanna use for this workflow.
Hey @samhbarton! If you’re reporting an issue with a flow or an error in a run, please include the run link and make sure it’s shareable so we can take a look.
Find your run link on the history page. Format: https://www.gumloop.com/pipeline?run_id={{your_run_id}}&workbook_id={{workbook_id}}
Make it shareable by clicking “Share” → ‘Anyone with the link can view’ in the top-left corner of the flow screen.

Hey @samhbarton – Thanks for sharing this. I can see how the UX could feel a bit confusing here, but just to clarify: the credential dropdown you see on the ‘Doc Writer’ node is specifically for the doc itself, not Google Drive. Since Google Drive isn’t the main scope here, it doesn’t appear in the credential dropdown, though I agree we should add it for clarity.
For now, whatever your default Google Drive credentials are set to on the credentials page is what’s used. If you want to change your default, just update it on that page and any new files should reflect the change once you refresh.
