How do we incorporate in flows?

dont really see the value for this. would be cool to see some use cases and reasons this means anything of value to non technical users.

Currently, MCP can’t be used directly within flows yet, but adding integrations (nodes) via MCP is on our roadmap. Our goal is to ensure that any integrations added through MCP meet the same quality standards as our existing nodes, ensuring reliability for production-level use cases.

Essentially, MCP (and open-sourcing guMCP) will help accelerate the number of integrations available in Gumloop—these integrations will be clearly marked as MCP-generated.

In the meantime, you can still use guMCP servers locally, on Cursor, or through Claude Desktop. If you’re curious about how these servers differ from others available in the market or what makes them unique, you can read more about it here.

Hope this clarifies things a bit more. I definitely see your point, and we’re working towards achieving what you’ve highlighted but it has a lot of other factors that we need to account for including LLM confidently understanding tool calls, seamless addition with the current nodes, etc.
