Webhook Trigger with Notion

Hi,

I’m pretty new to webhooks and I’m trying to trigger a flow via a webhook sent from Notion when I hit a button in the Notion database. When I’m setting up the webhook in Notion, the only option I really have is to key in a url to send the webhook to, but it seems like the URL provided in Gumloop is a generic one and not one customized for that particular flow. I’ve attached an image of what I see when setting up the webhook on Notion. The online tutorials I’ve seen on YouTube on how to connect Notion webhooks to software like Make.com seem to require the automation software to generate a custom URL for the flow.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hey @The_Weeblings! If you’re reporting an issue with a flow or an error in a run, please include the run link and make sure it’s shareable so we can take a look.

  1. Find your run link on the history page. Format: https://www.gumloop.com/pipeline?run_id={{your_run_id}}&workbook_id={{workbook_id}}

  2. Make it shareable by clicking “Share” → ‘Anyone with the link can view’ in the top-left corner of the flow screen.

  3. Provide details about the issue—more context helps us troubleshoot faster.

You can find your run history here: https://www.gumloop.com/history

Hey @The_Weeblings – It doesn’t look like Notion supports adding a custom payload, which is how Gumloop webhooks work. You could also try using the one-liner, but that requires adding variables in the value field, which at first glance doesn’t seem possible either unfortunately.
