Automate simple video download from Sharepoint list, edit, and repost to MS Stream

Newbie here!
I have a team of instructional designers (ID) who create archive videos from live webcast recordings. Here’s the basic sequence of this process. Is Gumloop capable of fully automating this process?

  1. Link to recording is obtained from a Sharepoint list in a specific column. Each row in the Sharepoint list is a specific course title.
  2. ID is notified via email when a recording is available for editing.
  3. ID goes to Sharepoint list and clicks link to download the unedited recording.
  4. ID uploads unedited recording to MS Stream site.
  5. ID makes simple trim edits to remove long delay at the beginning.
  6. ID turns on closed captioning in MS Stream.
  7. ID copies the share link to the MS Stream video.
  8. ID pastes the share link to the MS Stream video in a Archive Link field in the Sharepoint list.
  9. ID clicks the Completed button in the Archive Progress field.

Can this process be fully automated using Gumloop? I am trying to eliminate every human touchpoint in this process.

Thank you!

Hey @atrzebunia! If you’re reporting an issue with a flow or an error in a run, please include the run link and make sure it’s shareable so we can take a look.

  1. Find your run link on the history page. Format: https://www.gumloop.com/pipeline?run_id={{your_run_id}}&workbook_id={{workbook_id}}

  2. Make it shareable by clicking “Share” → ‘Anyone with the link can view’ in the top-left corner of the flow screen.

  3. Provide details about the issue—more context helps us troubleshoot faster.

You can find your run history here: https://www.gumloop.com/history

Hey @atrzebunia – This would be out of scope for Gumloop at the moment unfortunately. We don’t have a native integration with MS Stream to do video edits.
