Connections between nodes disappear after I save the workflow. I tried everything including trying to drag output badge. But when I hover over output badge dragging is disabled (shown by icon)
Tried to attach video but it’s not allowed
Hey @Lenny! If you’re reporting an issue with a flow or an error in a run, please include the run link and make sure it’s shareable so we can take a look.
-
Find your run link on the history page. Format:
https://www.gumloop.com/pipeline?run_id={{your_run_id}}&workbook_id={{workbook_id}} -
Make it shareable by clicking “Share” → ‘Anyone with the link can view’ in the top-left corner of the flow screen.

-
Provide details about the issue—more context helps us troubleshoot faster.
You can find your run history here: https://www.gumloop.com/history
Hey @Lenny – Thank you for sharing the screenshot. You would need to connect the two nodes (drag a connection line) and then drag/drop the badge into the node.
Here’s a tutorial on connecting nodes: Introducing a new way to build in Gumloop
Let me know if that works. If not, it would be really helpful if you could record a video using this link: Record your screen
It does not matter whether it’s connected or not - badge is disabled the same way like on a screenshot. Also, when you add output node, it does not have circle handler on top of the node box to drag the line from upstream node to unless you entered something in the input field
Additional note - I have tried using gumloop in Chrome and Edge (all updated to the latest versions) with the similar results
@Wasay-Gumloop Any idea?
Hey @Lenny,

It looks like you’re trying to connect the output from the previous node, but the output is actually available in the dialog of the connected node. For example, if you connect Node A to Node B, the inputs to Node B will show up when you hover over Node B, not Node A. This video covers the details: https://vimeo.com/1067003078. You can also check out the videos here: https://www.gumloop.com/university/courses/gumloop-101.

Regarding the
Outputnode, it doesn’t have an input handler by default. You’ll need to add anOutputvariable name first, and then the input handler will appear:
Let me know if this makes sense and works for you ![]()
Thank you very much for clarification. It worked. You can close this thread
Awesome, thank you! ![]()
