Gmail search works but not with piped input

In this workflow, the Gmail search node is not working. It works fine when I hardcode from:email_address

But when I pass a variable from a previous step (Airtable), it doesn’t work. Can anyone help troubleshoot?

Hey @Karthik! If you’re reporting an issue with a flow or an error in a run, please include the run link and make sure it’s shareable so we can take a look.

  1. Find your run link on the history page. Format: https://www.gumloop.com/pipeline?run_id={{your_run_id}}&workbook_id={{workbook_id}}

  2. Make it shareable by clicking “Share” → ‘Anyone with the link can view’ in the top-left corner of the flow screen.

Thank you @Karthik! I’m unable to repro this on my end. Can you confirm if you’ve the correct Gmail account authorized? Gumloop | Settings

If you run the Gmail node manually (ie. without search query) do these emails show up? If so could you share that run link please?
