Google Sheets Writer doesn't have an input for the data?

Hi, I’m unsure why the Google Sheets Writer works differently from the Google Docs Writer.

I’ve used the Google Docs Writer successfully.

But the Google Sheets Writer expects a file to be given to it. But in automation, I want it to create a new file. And if as instructed by Gummie I don’t select any file, there is no input that takes the data I need to write to the Google sheet. How does one connect this component without an input that takes data? the only input I found takes the link of the sheet. But that defeats the purpose if it’s a new sheet to be created by the run.

How do I write to an automatically created new google sheet ?

You must have an existing Google Sheet at the very least so that the workflow knows the structure of the data that you want to input.

Once we know the structure, you can enable “Create New Sheet” and it’ll create a new sheet with the same structure
