I just tried setting up guMCP with Claude. I followed the instructions and generated a guMCP API key and clicked on “Generate Your Server URL” for the gmail MCP, which gave me a URL. I then went into Claude → Settings → Integrations → Add integration, and pasted in the URL. This worked perfectly and Claude could access my email, but I then tried to do the same thing again with the TikTok MCP. I followed the exact same steps, but this time once my TikTok MCP is connected, my Gmail MCP got disabled and I’m unable to use it anymore.
Am I only able to use one guMCP connection? Or am I doing something wrong?
Hey @The_Weeblings! If you’re reporting an issue with a flow or an error in a run, please include the run link and make sure it’s shareable so we can take a look.
Find your run link on the history page. Format: https://www.gumloop.com/pipeline?run_id={{your_run_id}}&workbook_id={{workbook_id}}
Make it shareable by clicking “Share” → ‘Anyone with the link can view’ in the top-left corner of the flow screen.
Provide details about the issue—more context helps us troubleshoot faster.
Just as an update — I opened Claude again and the TikTok guMCP was the one disabled, and about 30 mins later, both guMCPs were working. It seems like the connections are intermittent. Not sure if that’s something you might want to inform your MCP developer about.
Also just another question, how do I know which account is connected to Claude via the MCP? For my gmail account, it’s the one I signed up for Gumloop with, but for TikTok/Instagram/Notion will I be able to pick the account?
Just an update here. Claude is experiencing intermittent issues these past 12+ hours. See: https://status.anthropic.com/ My guMCP integrations are affected. Been using them just fine for weeks so it seems like it might be a Claude issue? Claude Reddit also has details.
Hi @The_Weeblings, thanks for flagging this! guMCP supports multiple active integrations, I tested it in the Claude desktop client without seeing any conflicts.
As for which account is being used, each guMCP URL links to your Gumloop account and personal workspace, so it automatically uses the credentials you’ve saved at gumloop.com/credentials (for example, your Gmail). For platforms like Instagram and TikTok that don’t prompt for sign-in or API keys, we manage those keys ourselves, so there isn’t a way to plug in external API keys for those services.
Got it! Noted on the credentials for Notion / Gmail.
As for the multiple active integrations, is the issue with the MCP connections getting randomly disabled because of Claude’s issues the last couple days? I’m still having issues with my integrations randomly being disabled, and sometimes if I refresh the app, they reappear again (see screenshot). Thank you! =)
Hey guys, any updates on this? The MCP connection still randomly gets disabled, sometimes when I’m midway through using it in a chat and it’s getting quite frustrating. Would like to know if it’s a problem with Claude, the way I’m set up, or guMCP. Thank you!
Hey guys, it seems like it’s likely a Gumloop issue or it’s a problem with my setup as it’s still happening the past couple days and the intermittent issues within Claude has stopped. Is this something that’s happening to everyone else or just me? Would appreciate some clarify on this please. It’s pretty frustrating for my Gmail connection to randomly disconnect in the middle of a chat.
Hey @The_Weeblings – I’ve created a ticket to check this. It’s a bit tricky to suggest a solution right now or point you in the right direction unfortunately since we have to determine the exact root cause and find if it’s an issue with Claude or with our MCP. We haven’t faced this issue on our end, so we will have to work on reproducing the exact issue. I appreciate your patience here.
Thanks! Just to confirm, your guMCP servers don’t disable on their own randomly while you’re on Claude? Is this problem one that only I am having that no one else has asked about?
And when I say disabled, I don’t just mean that the toggles are turned off, it will say “no tools available” when I click on “Gumloop Gmail” to try and enable the tool. I will have to just keep refreshing the app and waiting for it to randomly appear as enabled again. I’ve attached screenshots for your reference.
Hey @The_Weeblings, I just sent you an email regarding the guMCP issue. I’ve been trying to reproduce it but haven’t had any luck so far. Let me know if you’re open to a quick call to look into it together.
Hey @JenK – Yes, I believe this is due to the Anthropic outage, if you look at https://status.anthropic.com/, you’ll see they’re still having some issues with both API and Claude code.
