I set up some automation with Slack Reader, Gmail Reader, and Google Sheet Reader as triggers. They worked fine for some days, but after the last update with the new interface (great future, TBH), I’m experiencing many problems with the triggers, which don’t trigger the flow anymore. I tried also to
deactivate the trigger
save the workflow
delete the trigger node
add it again.
Same result in 3-4 different workflows.
Hey @Lucavi94! If you’re reporting an issue with a flow or an error in a run, please include the run link and make sure it’s shareable so we can take a look.
Find your run link on the history page. Format: https://www.gumloop.com/pipeline?run_id={your_run_id}&workbook_id={workbook_id}
Make it shareable by clicking “Share” → ‘Anyone with the link can view’ in the top-left corner of the flow screen.
Provide details about the issue—more context helps us troubleshoot faster.
Hey @Lucavi94 — This really shouldn’t be happening, and I’m sorry about the trouble. Could you try one more thing, please: revoke and reauthenticate with Gmail/Slack here?
I suspect it might be related to expired authentication. The new UX update was carefully rolled out to be backwards compatible, so it shouldn’t have affected any triggers or workflows.
Also, just to confirm — you’re checking the history page or the “previous runs” tab on the canvas for triggered runs, right?
If you’re still seeing any errors, let me know and I’ll create a ticket for you. If you can also share your workbook links, that would be super helpful.
Revoking credentials, I fixed the “Gmail Reader Flow.” Regarding the " Google Sheet Reader" one, it looks like it doesn’t work because two nodes are not connected anymore: “Website scraper” and “Ask AI.” However, if I try to connect and save, I receive this error. I also tried from an incognito browser. Am I missing something? here the flow
Hey @Lucavi94 – Can you share the failed run link as well so I view the inputs/outputs please? You can find the run link on the https://www.gumloop.com/history page or through the Previous Runs tab on the canvas
Here is the link, I know why is crashing btw, the problem is that I cannot save any changes because I get the error previously reported when i click on save button
Solution was to remove all trigger nodes in the flowbook, save, and re-add them after. We are working on improvements in trigger consistency to prevent these issues happening, they should all be fixed by next week!
Thanks @Lucavi94 for the feedback. Another way to improve trigger stability is to separate unique triggers in a flow in a workbook into their own flowbooks (webhooks don’t matter).
So, for example if you have one workbook with 6 flows with one node trigger in each (gsheets, gmail, airtable etc.), it is better to separate the flows with node triggers into their one workbooks.
I’m trying in this way and it looks like they are working better now, so just using a folder to organize my work and separating workbooks with relevant triggers
