I’m encountering an issue while trying to re-run a workflow that analyzes image format ads via the Facebook Ad Library.
The error message I’m getting is: Error searching the Facebook Ad Library: Ads not found. Make sure the profile is running ads of the selected media/platform type in the specified country.
I’ve confirmed that the profile is currently running active ads on the platform, so that shouldn’t be the cause of the issue.
Interestingly, the same workflow runs perfectly when analyzing video format ads — the data is extracted as expected. The issue only occurs when applying the workflow to image format ads.
Could you please help me understand what might be going wrong? Is there any specific setting I should check for this media type?
Hey @Maria! If you’re reporting an issue with a flow or an error in a run, please include the run link and make sure it’s shareable so we can take a look.
Find your run link on the history page. Format: https://www.gumloop.com/pipeline?run_id={{your_run_id}}&workbook_id={{workbook_id}}
Make it shareable by clicking “Share” → ‘Anyone with the link can view’ in the top-left corner of the flow screen.
Provide details about the issue—more context helps us troubleshoot faster.
Hey @Maria – Thank you for flagging this. I think this might be an issue with the node, so I’m going to cut a ticket to investigate and fix it. In the meantime, if you select the media type to “all” instead of just “images,” it should work properly. On the analyze image node, you can also wrap it in an error shield – that way, when non-image files throw an error, they’ll be skipped without halting the entire flow. Credit usage will remain the same and there won’t be any additional credit cost.
I’ve linked the workflow below, which you can save and use on your end. I’ll keep you posted once the issue is resolved. Let me know if that works for you.
