Error Analyzing Image Format Ads in Facebook Ad Library

Hello team,

This case I told you about has been closed: Error Analyzing Image Format Ads in Facebook Ad Library - #3 by Wasay-Gumloop

I’ve been checking and I’m not getting all the nodes working. It’s like I’m stuck in the second step, it doesn’t do the analysis of the image and nothing is exported to the drive. There hasn’t been the same problem as last time, but it’s like it doesn’t finish the process.

I’m sharing a screenshot of what I’m telling you.

I understand that this is due to a problem with the node and not with the way I am applying it.

Also, I’m getting errors in this flow when I’ve been downloading documents. I haven’t changed any flows. Here it is: https://www.gumloop.com/pipeline?workbook_id=vcbiriWf3ngM1QGbdRCzwd&run_id=e3How68MVQFvEpVw3Jcjn4

Thanks in advance for your support.

Hey @Maria! If you’re reporting an issue with a flow or an error in a run, please include the run link and make sure it’s shareable so we can take a look.

  1. Find your run link on the history page. Format: https://www.gumloop.com/pipeline?run_id={{your_run_id}}&workbook_id={{workbook_id}}

  2. Make it shareable by clicking “Share” → ‘Anyone with the link can view’ in the top-left corner of the flow screen.

  3. Provide details about the issue—more context helps us troubleshoot faster.

You can find your run history here: https://www.gumloop.com/history

Hey @Maria – thank you for reaching out. Regarding your first point about the workflow not finishing the process, it’s likely because all of the URLs you were processing through the analyze image node were caught by the error shield. That usually means they ran into an error, so there was no output available to move to the subsequent nodes. If you can share the specific run link from the previous runs tab, I can take a look to confirm and check exactly what went wrong, but most likely the page just didn’t have image ads.

For the second point, where you’re seeing an error with the analyze video node. This is similar to the issue before where, in loop mode, the analyze video node fails on certain iterations. The best way to protect your flow is to use an error shield around that as well. That will just skip over any invalid links and keep your workflow intact. I’ve already added an error shield to both of your subflows in the workflow below, which you can simply clone on your end, there’s nothing else you need to do. I’ve also sent you back the credits for these flows.

Let me know if that works, and if you’re able to find the run link for the first issue, that would be great!

Hello Wasay,

Here’s the link to the first issue I mentioned regarding image analysis (https://www.gumloop.com/pipeline?workbook_id=6JCoHcSgsYuH18KVfs9CKB&run_id=RtqhrsTpn6KTSzk5trzbi5). The point you raised about it possibly being due to a lack of image ads is a bit odd, as this brand tends to use both single image and video formats as their main formats.

As for the second issue, the node you added for “escudo” did the trick — it’s working fine now.

Thanks, looking forward to your reply.

Thank you for sharing the run link. It looks like this might be a different run from the one in your original screenshot, since in that first post, the node continued past the FacebookAdLibrary step and also looped through the Analyze Image node. In this run, I see it failed right at the first step.

The main reason for the failure is that the scraper doesn’t return any links when the country is set to ES. I recommend leaving the country field empty for a broader search – that’s just how the scraper’s API returns results right now.

Another thing I noticed is that you had a lot of additional inputs in the Image Link field, like the start date and body text. That would result in an error, since the Image Link should only contain the Ad Media URLs. I’ve fixed that in the run below.

Let me know if this makes sense and works for you.
