Input / Output can't be inserted in Nodes on Surface

I have read two articles about the problems with connecting nodes because the input/ output doesn’t pop-up, when hovering above it. I am facing the same issue and was wondering if there is a work-around or if there is a solution already.

Hey @Mario! If you’re reporting an issue with a flow or an error in a run, please include the run link and make sure it’s shareable so we can take a look.

  1. Find your run link on the history page. Format: https://www.gumloop.com/pipeline?run_id={{your_run_id}}&workbook_id={{workbook_id}}

  2. Make it shareable by clicking “Share” → ‘Anyone with the link can view’ in the top-left corner of the flow screen.

Hey @Mario – Thank you for bringing this up. At the moment, we don’t have a reliable solution for this, mainly because the way Surface Pro handles touch points is quite convoluted, and there isn’t a consistent way for us to address it without impacting other parts of the platform. We are in the process of a broader refactor to improve reliability and speed, which may also help with how things work on Surface Pro in the future. For now, I’d recommend using a non-touch device for the smoothest experience. Really appreciate your patience and understanding with this!
